đ¨ Abstract
A midwife from Newry, Northern Ireland, Seana Mary Kerr, was struck off the nursing register after spreading Covid-19 and vaccination conspiracy theories on social media. She claimed vaccines harmed babies in the womb and advised a pregnant woman not to wear a face mask or get the flu vaccine. The Nursing and Midwifery Council tribunal found her actions undermined public confidence in healthcare professionals and caused significant emotional harm. Kerr showed no remorse.
