💨 Abstract
South African motorists facing long waits for driver’s licence cards will soon benefit from a new backup printing system. The Department of Transport confirmed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government Printing Works, aiming to reduce backlogs caused by the current printer breakdowns. the operational status is expected to begin in October 2025.
